ABOUT ABOUT
More and more the Internet is becoming an integral part of our daily lives. Basic web site skills, much like typing skills ten years ago, have evolved from something nice to have to an absolute requirement. If you have ever wanted to learn the basics of web development from the ground up, this is your chance. Join Matt Torbin at The Hacktory for a one day seminar introducing you to the core fundamentals from writing the code yourself by hand to publishing the web page online. No prior web development knowledge is required but a strong familiarity with a computer and basic use of popular applications is strongly encouraged. The course is platform-neutral so Macintosh, Windows and Linux users are all welcome! Assistants will be on hand to answer individual questions throughout the day. This is a fast pace course teaching students to code by hand without the aid of an editor. If you're up for a small challenge with potentially huge benefits, get your tickets today.

Matt Torbin is a professional web developer who has been programming for the last twelve years. Many of Matt's previous employers and clients are leaders in their respective industries.
