ABOUT ABOUT

This is a thinkering after school program that will offer every Friday the opportunity for 3rd to 5th grade students to do hands-on projects at The Hacktory, located at the Dept. of Making + Doing (DM+D). In the process of making things, students will learn related concepts of simple machines, basic electronics, digital fabrication and multimedia projects. We can pick up students from Penn Alexander school at the end of their day at 3:09 with parental approval. Other students are welcome but they will need to arrange their own transportation from school to The Hacktory.

For payment options, you are welcome to select the dates and purchase tickets here. We also accept check, cash, and direct paypal transfer to [email protected].

This program was created with support from the Cognizant Foundation, Knight Foundation, Barra Foundation, ArtPlace, DM+D | Dept. of Making + Doing, and members of The Hacktory community.
