It’s hard to be safe on a bike when you’re not seen. There’s lots of new options today to put lights on your bike to be sure you catch everyone’s eye. In this fun workshop we’ll teach you how to use and program a few popular types of lights, such as light up wire you can use to outline your bike or blinky lights to write messages in your spokes. All ages are welcome, and materials for 20 riders and bikes will be provided. After you’re prepared to glow all night, be sure to join us for one of our bike parades or other events happening in September. We will be exploring and illuminating the park at Grays Ferry Crescent, so hop on your ride and check it out. This event is all-ages, but those under 13 need to be accompanied by an adult.
