Spoiler: It's a lot more than you might realize. We'll be joined by organizers of Restore the 4th and others interested in protecting their privacy rights in the age of big data. Afterwards we'll have a brief discussion about what the legal boundaries for tracking individuals actually are, and resources you may want to use to limit your online footprints. This is a kick-off for a series of events that will further explore how technology has enabled groups like the NSA to track individuals, and what the history of surveillance, for good or bad, actually is.
