ABOUT ABOUT
This is the perfect intro class to experiment with interactive art, or to make electronic projects using the popular open source platform called Arduino. You will learn to build your own development platform, connect a variety of sensors (light, touch, sound, etc.) and use them to control LEDs, speakers and other devices.

No prior knowledge of electronics or programming is necessary, and all materials will be provided to you as a kit to keep (including the DIY kit, breadboard, programming cable, and a great selection of components for experimenting). You will need to bring a laptop with an available usb port, since a host computer is needed to program the Arduino. (Linux, Windows, or Mac is fine).
The class costs a total of $185 for the full 6 hours of instruction and workshop time.

Pizza and salad will be provided for lunch, so if you have dietary restrictions please plan accordingly.

Free parking is available in our sponsor NTR's parking lot, which is adjacent to our building on Brandywine.
Restrictions

Because we are a small organization, we only run this class with 7 people or more. If we fail to have 7 sign ups by April 30, we may postpone the class and/or issue full refunds to those who have signed up. However, if you are unable to attend the class due a change in your schedule, we regret that we can only issue a partial refund of $135 to cover our costs.
